A very warm welcome to you especially if you are a visitor or will be joining us through the Recording Ministry and to Revd Ron Smith who is leading our worship this morning.
Please join us for refreshments in the Garling Room after the Service.
Prayer Ministry – if you would like a prayer for yourself or someone else, members of the prayer team will be available at the front of the Church after the morning service.
Recording Ministry – If you do not usually receive a DVD of our services please speak to Stephen Suthernwood or ring him on 01206 540988 to obtain a copy.

Please pray for our Minister Revd Ruth Ridge and all those who minister to the people of God, especially this week for Mile End Methodist Church.
Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.
Agapé Meal – Thursday 17th April starting at 7:00pm. Please add your name to the list on the notice board if you will be coming. This will be a simple meal of bread and cheese with Holy Communion.
Easter Offering Envelope – please can these be returned on April 20th or 27th. Every Easter, the Methodist Church in Britain focuses on the World Church and invites donations to the World Mission Fund through the Easter Offering envelopes.
The circuit Easter Offering Service will be held on 7th May at Mersea.

A Holy Week Labyrinth at Mile End Methodist Church on Maundy Thursday 2:00 – 6:00pm and Good Friday 10:30am – 4:30pm. See notice board.
Can you see the hero in Jesus? – At the Mercury Theatre on Good Friday 18th April at 7:30pm – presented by the Churches in the South of Colchester. Admission is free and there will be a retiring offertory.
Good Friday – there will be a March of Witness through the town centre led by the Salvation Army. This is open to everyone! Please assemble at the Salvation Army Citadel in Butt Road at 11.45am ready to move off at 12 noon. The march will finish at the War Memorial outside the Castle. Easter Praise at Fingringhoe Methodist Church on Sunday 20th April at 3:00pm. Please see one of the Stewards if you would like a lift.
Light a Candle Service here at Lexden on Thursday May 1st at 7:30pm. A service to remember those we’ve loved and lost. All are welcome.
