We light the third candle to symbolise joy, knowing
that fullness of Joy comes from God alone.

A very warm welcome to you especially if you are a visitor or will be joining us during the week through the Recording Ministry and to Rev David Moody who is leading our worship this morning.

Please stay for refreshments afterwards in the Garling Room.

Recording Ministry – if you would like a DVD of our service today please speak to one of the stewards to obtain a copy.

PRAYER

Prayer Requests – Please remember all those on our prayer list.

Please pray for our Circuit Ministers Rev Joe Adams, Rev Ken Chalmers and Rev Alan Jenkins.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

Christmas Cards – as usual we are sending just one card to all of our friends in church. These can be pinned to the notice board in the Garling Room and there is a collection box for donations to ‘Action for Children’.

We have received a card from Chris Nash and she wishes all her old friends well.

Churches in Stanway invite you to Community Carols in Stanway Community Hall today at 4pm.

Love Stanway Lakelands Nativity on Tuesday 17th December at 6:30pm on Lakelands Estate Playpark, Martin Hunt Drive. Carols followed by mince pies. Come dressed as your favourite nativity character.

Family Service at Wimpole Road Methodist Church on Tuesday 24th December (Christmas Eve) at 4pm led by Rev Joe Adams.
