Prayer Ministry – if you would like a prayer for yourself or someone else, members of the prayer team will be available at the front of the Church after the morning service.

Keith and Di Thompson have asked for prayers for their son and daughter–in-law, Andy and Joanna. Jo is very seriously ill with a brain tumour, she has been receiving treatment for some time but it seems that the illness has now reached a critical stage.
Please pray for our Minister Revd Ruth Ridge and all those who minister to the people of God, especially this week for our church here in Lexden.
Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.
Easter Offering: Every Easter, the Methodist Church in Britain focuses on the World Church and invites donations to the World Mission Fund through the Easter Offering envelopes. The circuit Easter Offering Service will be held this Wednesday 7th May at Mersea. Please see Geoff or Viv if you need a lift.
Mission Weekend 11th and 12th May with Major David House of the Salvation Army. Gentlemen are invited to attend the Monday night Friendly Circle event starting at 7:30pm.

St Leonard’s is hosting Lexden Arts Festival from the 3rd to the 10th May – bringing high quality visual arts and crafts, music and performing arts to Lexden, Colchester and North East Essex.
Two Rivers Mission will be taking place from 3rd – 18th May in churches along the rivers Colne and Stour. Teams will be running special events with the aim of encouraging more people to find out about Jesus. Although our church is not taking part in the mission we can still support them with prayer.
Christian Aid Week 11th to 17th May.
Wimpole Road Methodist Church will be celebrating 110 years on Sunday 8th June at 6:30pm with guest preacher The Revd Lord Leslie Griffiths and the Boxted Methodist Silver Band. Everyone is welcome.
Action for Children sponsored walk at West Mersea on Saturday 14th June starting at 10:00am
