You are warmly welcomed especially if you are a visitor or will be joining us through the Recording Ministry and to Phil Bingham who is leading worship this morning.
Please join us for refreshments in the Garling Room after the Service.
Prayer Ministry – if you would like a prayer for yourself or someone else, please speak with one of the Stewards after the morning service.
Recording Ministry – If you do not usually receive a DVD of our services please speak to Stephen Suthernwood or ring him on 01206 540988 to obtain a copy.
Prayer Requests: Rose & Peter Bobby, Dorothy Cardey, Charles Cronin, Barbara Duller, Emily Grote, Joan Rouse, Richard & May Walters and Robin Wilkinson.
Please pray for our Minister Revd Ruth Ridge and all those who minister to the people of God, especially this week for Marks Tey Methodist Church.
Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

Provision of Preachers – Difficulty is being experienced by Revd Alan Jenkins, (Our Superintendent Minister), in producing the preaching plan as he has limited preacher resources at his disposal. That is why we have been asked to express our preferences on the questionnaire. If you have not already done so please can you complete the questionnaire and put it in the basket provided or give it to one of the Stewards.

Farewell Service at Marks Tey – Sunday 31st August at 3:30pm. Everyone welcome. There will be refreshments after the service with an opportunity to view an exhibition of photographs.
Family Fun Day organised by Seeking God’s Blessing for Colchester will be held in Castle Park on Saturday 13th September from 11:00am to 4:00pm. This event will include crafts and activities as well as Church related experiences.
Seeking God’s Blessing for Colchester – an evening with Paul Cowley on Thursday 25th September. This will take place at St Johns Community Centre and will include a meal.
