Please pray for our Minister Revd Ruth Ridge and all those who minister to the people of God, especially this week for those affected by conflict or war.
Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.
Operation Christmas Child shoebox appeal. A very big thank you to everyone who contributed in any way. We have collected an amazing number of boxes. If you still have a box or any other contribution, please see Avril.
Sunday Services – to fit in with the rest of the Circuit we agreed at our Church Council meeting that we would move the start of our Sunday Services to 11am from 7th December. This allows our Ministers to take two services each Sunday morning – one at 9:30 and one at 11.
So that we still finish at the same time we will be having our tea and coffee before the service from 10:15 to 10:45. If you have any questions about this please speak with one of the Stewards.
Beacon House – as the nights get colder please remember our friends at Beacon House. They especially need jeans and t shirts. Also deodorant and disposable razors. Please the full list in the entrance vestibule. We will be collecting throughout November.

WW1 Exhibition at Fingringhoe Methodist Church on Saturday 8th November 10am to 2pm – light lunch provided – and Sunday 9th November 2 to 4pm.
Remembrance Day Tuesday 11th November the church will open from 10:00am to 12:00 noon. You are welcome to come and pray, meditate or light a candle. There will be a collection box for Help for Heroes.
Seeking God’s Blessing for Colchester is celebrating 10 years. You are invited to the service at St Botolph’s Church on Sunday 16th November. Tea and coffee from 6:30pm. The service starts at 7pm. Guest Speaker Rt Revd Roger Morris, Bishop of Colchester.
Boxted Methodist Silver Band concert at St Peter’s Church Boxted on Wednesday 19th November at 7:30pm. Please see the poster on the notice board for more information.
