Prayer Requests: Peter Bobby,Dorothy Cardey, Charles Cronin, Barbara Duller, Emily Grote, Joan Rouse, Betty Taylor and Richard & May Walters.

Please pray for our Minister Revd Ruth Ridge and all those who minister to the people of God, especially this week for Mersea Methodist Church.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

Christmas Cards – We would encourage you to send just one card to everyone at Lexden Methodist Church. These can be displayed on the notice board in the Garling Room. Please see Bill or Alan if you need help pinning your card. There will be a collection box for contributions to the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.

11am start – please let one of the Stewards know if you are finding the later start inconvenient. If you are no longer able to come we can arrange for a DVD of the service to be delivered.

Carol Singing in West Bergholt on Friday 19th December. Meet at the Methodist Church Hall at 6:15pm. Funds raised will be for Action for Children

followed by tea/coffee and mince pies

Carols by Candlelight Sunday 21st December at 6:30pm

Midnight Holy Communion Wednesday 24th December starting at 11:15pm

Christmas Day Service Thursday 25th December from 9:45 to 10:30am
