Prayer Requests – Please remember all those on our prayer list.

Please pray for our Minister Revd Paul Howes and the circuit team ministers Revd Alan Jenkins, Revd Ken Chalmers and Revd Steve Swann and all those who minister to the people of God.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

Coffee Morning with Bring and Buy on Saturday 2nd September will be in aid of ‘All We Can’ the Methodist relief and development charity. Please come along and support this worthwhile charity.

Harvest Festival on Sunday 1st October at 3:00pm after Harvest Lunch. Please note there will not be a morning service here on this day.

Other Events

Prayer Changes Everything – from September there will be a monthly Circuit Prayer Event held at Castle Methodist Church on the first Saturday of the month at 9:30am lasting around 30 minutes. The first one will be 2nd September.

Free Family Fun Day arranged by Seeking God’s Blessing for Colchester will be held in the Lower Castle Park on Saturday 16th September from 11am to 4pm. Everyone welcome – not just for children.

Contemporary Worship at Mersea Methodist Church on Sunday 24th September at 6:30pm.

Circuit Study Day on 7th October at The Ark from 10am to 4pm. It is for anyone who has an interest in using puppets in ministry. There is a charge of £15 for the day. To book a place please contact Helen Coppin by phone or email.
