Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

Gift Aid – if you are a low wage/pension earner and have set up Gift Aid on your weekly offering please speak with Bill. Under the new regulations if you have not paid sufficient tax to cover your Gift Aid donation you may have to make up the difference in income tax to HMRC.

Thy Kingdom Come 2018 has been launched by the Archbishop of Canterbury. This is a worldwide, ecumenical prayer movement calling on all Christians to pray that people might come to know Jesus Christ. Between Ascension Day and Pentecost from Thursday 10th to Sunday 20th May 2018 please use this prayer which thousands of people across the world will be praying.

Almighty God, your ascended Son has sent us into the world to preach the good news of your kingdom: inspire us with your Spirit and fill our hearts with the fire of your love, that all who hear your Word may be drawn to you, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Songs of Praise for Christian Aid at Fingringhoe Methodist Church This Afternoon at 3pm.

Churches of Colchester present Pentecost Sunday Celebration featuring Graham Kendrick and band with guest speaker Bishop Roger Morris at Kingsland Church (above Aldi) This Evening at 6:30pm. Our car park will be available for any of our Church Members who are attending this event.

Searchlight Theatre Company are coming to Christ Church Colchester on Thursday 14th June at 7:15pm where you will hear the first 90 chapters of the bible on 90 minutes! Please see the poster on the notice board for ticket details.
