Prayer Requests – Please remember all those on our prayer list.

Please pray for our Ministers Rev Paul Howes, Rev Alan Jenkins and Rev Ken Chalmers and all those who minister to the people of God.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

Can you help the police? They are investigating the theft of a blue boat that was last seen being towed behind a vehicle along Straight Road in the early hours of the morning at some point after 14th June. Have you seen anything suspicious or know of any boats or trailers being stored near you? Please let Christine or Alan know.

Gift Aid – if you are a low wage/pension earner and have set up Gift Aid on your weekly offering please speak with Bill. Under the new regulations if you have not paid sufficient tax to cover your Gift Aid donation you may have to make up the difference in income tax to HMRC.

10:00am – 12noon – Ukulele Group using the Garling Room

Other Events

Stanway U3A – University of the Third Age – if you are interested in any of the activities on offer you are invited to attend their next meeting at Stanway Village Hall on Friday 13th July at 2:15pm.

Colchester Churches Family Fun Festival at Lower Castle Park on Saturday 16th September from 11am to 4pm. Free entry.

Farewell Celebration for West Bergholt Methodist Church on the weekend of 29th and 30th September. More details to follow nearer the time.
