We offer you a very warm welcome especially if you are a visitor or will be joining us during the week through the Recording Ministry and Jonathan Sparkes who is leading our worship this morning.
Please stay for refreshments afterwards in the Garling Room.
Recording Ministry – if you do not normally receive a DVD of our services please speak to one of the stewards to obtain a copy.
Prayer Requests – Please remember all those on our prayer list.
Please pray for our Ministers Rev Paul Howes, Rev Ken Chalmers and especially Rev Alan Jenkins who is recovering from chemotherapy treatment.
Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
(1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Donate for Lent – rather than give something up for Lent why not give something away instead. Every Sunday in Lent there is a box in the entrance vestibule for donations of soup for the Colchester soup run. Thank you to everyone who has donated because some of your soup has already been used although more soup is very welcome.
Maundy Thursday tenebrae service on Thursday 18th April at 7pm will be led by Rev Ken Chalmers. Please add your name to the list on the notice board if you are attending.
Easter Offering Envelope – please can these be returned by next week. Don’t forget to complete the gift aid section if you are a tax payer.
