PRAYER

Prayer Requests – Please remember all those on our prayer list.
Please remember Frank and Maud Faircloth in your prayers following the sudden death of Frank’s daughter Jean.

Please pray for our Ministers Rev Paul Howes, Rev Ken Chalmers and especially Rev Alan Jenkins who is now in remission.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

Action for Children – Step out for Children sponsored Walk on Saturday 8th June starting at 10am. A 3-4 mile circular walk starting from Somerville, The Folley, Layer do la Haye. Please see the poster on the notice board for contact details.

Older Persons Information Fair on Friday 14th June from 10am to 1pm at Firstsite, Colchester. Free advice on pensions, health services, benefits and more. Please see the poster for more details.

Gathering for Contemporary Worship led by the Colchester Methodist Circuit here at Lexden on June 23rd at 6:30pm.

Family Fun Day organised by the Stanway Churches on Saturday 29th June from 11am to 4pm on Silverwitch Green – opposite the front entrance to Stanway Primary School. Activities include football training, bouncy castles, face painting, dog shows and live music.
