Notices 3 May 2020

Notices for Week Commencing 3rd May 2020

Although we are not together in person we are all together in the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Requests – Please remember all those on our prayer list. Also the royal family, the government, the NHS, carers, volunteers, charity workers, shop workers, bin men, the army and especially the families of those who have lost their battle with Covid-19.

Please pray for our Circuit Ministers Rev Joe Adams, Rev Ken Chalmers and Rev Alan Jenkins.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

Worship from home – as well as the on-line services the BBC share Sunday Worship on Radio 4 at 8:10am and on TV BBC 1 at 10:45am.

Update on Stephen – he is now in the Felixstowe Methodist Home. He is doing well and is well cared for but please keep him in your prayers.

Note from Geoff – Treasurer
It now appears more than likely that the lockdown could continue into June. Even if the Government were to look at easing the current restrictions earlier I’m not sure that Church services could recommence without ensuring that rigorous self- distancing advice was strictly observed.
I’m aware that many of you may be diligently dealing with the weekly collection envelopes or putting aside your weekly cash donation. I suggest that you may need to hold on to them until we can resume services.
However, in the meantime, if it is possible to safely get them to me I can process them, but please no coins and only cheques if you have signed up to Gift Aid.
Looking forward to the Time when we can meet again. With best wishes and please keep safe. – Geoff 01206 545083
