Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven he gave thanks. Matt 14 v 19
Prayer Requests – Please pray for all those involved in the continuing fight against Covid-19. Local preacher Brian Llewellyn sadly passed away during the week. Please keep his wife Ollwyn and family in your prayers.
Please pray for our Circuit Ministers Rev Joe Adams, Rev Ken Chalmers and Rev Alan Jenkins.
Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.
Worship from home – don’t forget circuit services are available on the internet and I thoroughly recommend the service on YouTube. Even if you don’t have internet access this might be available as part of your television package. Check your program guide. Search for Colchester Methodist Circuit or follow this link.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCy1Oj6Fjruf2Z8jhx_WMpyw. The circuit is hoping to have these services available on DVD very soon. If you would like to receive a copy please contact Alan or Christine.

My All in All
Since I am Christ’s, and Christ is mine
No thing shall me appal:
For under every circumstance
He is my all in all.
In gloomy days I have no fear,
Nor shall I be affright,
For in the darkness that surrounds
He is my guiding light.
The storms about me are severe,
The tempests loud and long,
But at His word His peace will place
Within my heart a song.
The tempter comes with artful guile,
But he will not prevail,
For strengthened by my Saviour’s grace
I surely shall not fail.
The road I tread may be winding be,
It may be smooth or rough;
But with the saviour by my side
His presence will be enough.
And should it be a lonely path,
My Saviour will be there,
To succour with His company,
I never need despair.
But what if sickness lays me low,
Or pain I have to bear,
The great Physician is close by,
I’ll feel his presence there.
And so in every circumstance,
No thing shall me appal,
For I am Christ’s, and Christ is mine,
He is my all in all.
With thanks to Adina Salmon for sharing this poem with us – it was a gift to her from a very dear friend of 90 who is no longer with us.
