Notices 25 December 2021

Notices for Week Commencing 25th December 2021

Christmas Day

We light the fifth candle for the Light of the World.

“Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given”. Isaiah 9 v 6

We offer you a very warm welcome especially if you are a visitor and to Alan Beesley who is leading our service this morning.

Prayer Requests – Please pray for all the people who can’t be with their family over Christmas.
Please continue to pray for Rachel Allen and her family. Rachel is still in hospital following major neurological surgery. The family were hoping she would be allowed home in time for Christmas but sadly this is not possible.

Please pray for our Circuit Ministers Rev Joe Adams, Rev Ken Chalmers and Rev Alan Jenkins.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

Covid Regulations – We will continue with these for the time being and ask that you still sign-in on arrival or use the QR code. For the safety of visiting preachers, as well as our congregation, we are still following social distancing guidelines and everyone must sanitise their hands and wear a facemask at all times. We are unable to provide tea and coffee at the moment.

Sunday Services on DVD –If you, or anyone you know, would like a copy of our Sunday morning service on DVD please speak with Geoff or one of the stewards.

If you are visiting us for the first time please add your name to our Visitor’s Book which is on the bookcase in the entrance vestibule. Many thanks.

Did the star that shone for you
Shine out for all mankind.
And is that light still shining now,
With hope through space and time?

In brightest day,
In darkest night,
Shines on forever
His glorious light.
