A very warm welcome to you especially if you are a visitor and to those who will be watching on the DVD and a very warm welcome back to Rev Joe Adams who is leading our worship this morning.

PRAYER

Prayer Requests – Please pray for the people in Ukraine and pray for peace.

Please pray for our Circuit Ministers Rev Joe Adams, Rev Ken Chalmers and Rev Alan Jenkins.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

NOTICES

Pray for Ukraine. On Saturday 12th March at 2.00-3.00 Colchester Quakers are holding a Peace Vigil in front of the Colchester Quaker Meeting House, 6 Church Street, Colchester, CO1 1NF to uphold the people of Ukraine. They would like to invite anyone who feels so moved to join them. They are suggesting that people may wish to bring candles and readings, and to please dress for the weather as we will gather on the forecourt in front of the Meeting House. Tea and cake will be served indoors afterwards.

Annual Church Meeting – will be held here on Thursday 24th March at 2:15 pm.

Lent – during Lent we are asking you to give up a tin or a packet every week for the Food Bank. There will be a box under the table in the entrance vestibule throughout Lent for your donations. Thank you.

Covid Regulations – Although restrictions have now ceased we respectfully ask everyone to continue to wear a facemask and use the hand sanitiser.

Easter – our Sunday service with Holy Communion on Easter day – 17th April – will be at 3pm and will be led by Rev Paul Howes. We will not have a morning service on that day. The Easter Offering service will be on 8th May.

Sunday Services on DVD – If you, or anyone you know, would like a copy of our Sunday morning service on DVD please speak with Geoff or one of the stewards.

Midweek Prayer Time – every Thursday at 9:30am. A short service of prayer and reflection.
