We offer you a very warm welcome especially if you are a visitor and to those who will be watching the DVD during the week and to Rev Joe Adams who is leading our worship with Holy Communion this morning.

PRAYER

Prayer Requests – Please pray for all our friends who are no longer able to meet with us on a Sunday.

Please pray for our Minister Rev Joe Adams and our new superintendent minister Rev Chris Preece.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

NOTICES

Sunday Offering – we have decided to pass around the collection bag as part of our morning service again.

The funeral of Harold Emms is at the Colchester Crematorium this Wednesday 7th September at 12:30pm.

Our Harvest Festival will take place on Sunday 2nd October. As usual we will be collecting for the Food Bank. All donations will be gratefully received.

Helen Beesley has said a very big thank you to everyone who donated to her walk for Diabetes UK. We collected £165 which has taken her total to £655. Helen will continue to walk throughout September to reach her target of one million steps and you can follow her progress at https://step.diabetes.org.uk/fundraising/helen1293

Sunday Services on DVD – If you, or anyone you know, would like a copy of our Sunday morning service on DVD please speak with Geoff or one of the stewards.

Midweek Prayer Time – every Thursday from 9:30am. A short service of prayer and reflection. Everyone welcome.
