We offer you a very warm welcome especially if you are a visitor and to those who will be watching the DVD during the week and to Rev Paul Howes who is leading our Church Anniversary service with Holy Communion this morning.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

NOTICES
Christmas Giving for the Methodist Seamen’s Mission known as Queen Victoria Seamen’s Rest. We are collecting knitted hats, gloves, fingerless mitts. Men’s toiletries – anti-dandruff shampoo, soap, shower stuff, toothbrushes and toothpaste. E45 cream, hand cream for extra dry skin. Sweets, chocolate, Haribos. Please can these be brought in before the end of the month. Thank you.

Remembrance & Thanksgiving Concert on Saturday 12th November at 7:30pm at St Botolph’s Church supported by the Boxted Methodist Silver Band and the Lexden Choral Society. The first half will feature extracts from Handel’s Messiah, Little Jazz Mass by Bob Chilcott and Requiem by Brahms plus Cantique de Jean Racine by Foure. The second half will feature some Boxted favourites and Hymn to the Fallen from Saving Private Ryan. There will be a “Last Night of the Proms”, with audience participation, and the Act of Remembrance.

Circuit Bible Study led by Rev Chris Preece on Zoom. Each week will be a stand-alone session, so don’t feel you have to commit to attending every week. The dates of the meetings are: 1st and 8th November, 6th, 13th, 20th December. Please see Christine if you would like the contact details emailed to you.

Sunday Services on DVD – If you, or anyone you know, would like a copy of our Sunday morning service on DVD please speak with Geoff or one of the stewards.

Midweek Prayer Time – every Thursday from 9:30am. A short service of prayer and reflection. Everyone welcome.
