Fourth Sunday in Advent

For to us a child is born. Isaiah 9 v 6

We offer you a very warm welcome especially if you are a visitor and to those who will be watching the DVD during the week. Our service this morning is being led by our church members and Rev Joe Adams will lead us in Holy Communion.

After the service there will be a short church council meeting followed by teas and coffees in the Garling Room. Please join us if you can.

PRAYER

Prayer Requests – Please pray for all the families who have lost loved ones this Christmastime.

Please pray for our Ministers Rev Joe Adams and Rev Chris Preece.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

Christmas Day at Lexden – we will be having a short service here next Sunday at 9:45am. Please note the earlier time. Everyone welcome.

The funeral for David Ablewhite will take place on Friday 6th January at 11am at Wimpole Road Methodist Church.

The funeral for John Hampshire will take place here on Wednesday 11th January at 10:30am followed by committal at St Albrights.

Sunday Services on DVD – If you, or anyone you know, would like a copy of our Sunday morning service on DVD please speak with Geoff or one of the stewards.

Midweek Prayer Time – every Thursday from 9:30am. A short service of prayer and reflection. Everyone welcome.
