A very warm welcome to you all especially if you are a visitor and to those who will be watching the DVD during the week and to Rev Chris Preece who is leading our worship for the first time this morning.

PRAYER

Prayer Requests – Please pray for all the families who have lost loved ones this Christmastime. Continue to pray for world peace.

Please pray for our Ministers Rev Joe Adams and Rev Chris Preece.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

NOTICES

Ruth Kerry on behalf of the family of John Hampshire wanted to say thank you to all those church members who attended John’s funeral on Wednesday. Ruth was thankful for all the messages of condolence she received.

The Methodist Ramblers are starting up again after Covid. The first walk will be a 2.5 mile walk on Tuesday 7th February from Castle Methodist Church at 1.30pm to Lexden Methodist Church. Then on Tuesday 7th March there will be a 4.5 mile walk from Lexden Methodist Church at 1.30pm to Castle Methodist Church. More walks will be announced later.

Sunday Services on DVD – If you, or anyone you know, would like a copy of our Sunday morning service on DVD please speak with Geoff or one of the stewards.

Midweek Prayer Time – every Thursday from 9:30am. A short service of prayer and reflection. Everyone welcome.
