A very warm welcome to you all especially if you are a visitor and to those who will be watching the DVD during the week and to Viv Wilcox and all church members who have contributed to this morning’s service.

PRAYER

Prayer Requests – Please pray for Christine Beesley recuperating at home following her recent stay in hospital.

Please pray for our Ministers – Rev Chris Preece and Rev Hannah Chun.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

NOTICES

Thank you to everyone who has donated money and goods for the Foodbank during our Harvest Festival. We collected 55.5kg of food and other items as well as £120.00 received so far in cash.

Church Council will be held on Wednesday 18th October at 2pm. This is the first meeting Hannah will be with us. Please come along if you are able.

Pastoral Letter from Rev Hannah Chun – there are copies on the table in the entrance for you to read.

Phil Bingham and his Methodist friends invite you to share in an act of celebration and thanksgiving. This will be held at St Mary’s Anglican Church Wivenhoe today at 3pm. Music will be provided by Boxted Methodist Silver Band.
Phil was accredited as a Methodist Local Preacher 50 years ago and has preached in and around the Colchester area since then.
There is on street parking nearby and a public car park higher up the High Street. Further parking is available at both the Congregational and Methodist Churches and for those who need it, a ferrying service will be available from those venues
