PRAYER

Prayer Requests – Continue to pray for the people who live in the land where Jesus once walked. Pray for peace. Pray for understanding.

Please pray for our Ministers – Rev Chris Preece and Rev Hannah Chun.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

NOTICES

Gathering for Circuit Worship this evening at 6.30pm – ‘Listening to the Present Jesus’ with Holy Communion at Wimpole Road Methodist Church.

A message from Rev Chris Preece:
We are delighted that Sally Crafer and Joe Navoka have both completed their Local Preacher training and we are now organising their Admission Service. The service will commence at 3pm on Sunday 10th December 2023. At Joe and Sally’s request, for the ease and flexibility of livestreaming, the service will take place at Castle Methodist Church. It would be great to share with as many people as possible as we celebrate with Sally and Joe.

Teas and Coffees will be available once a month after our Communion services as from next month. We are grateful to Avril and Nigel for arranging this although going forward it would be helpful if we had volunteers who could join a rota.

Sunday Services on DVD – If you, or anyone you know, would like a copy of our Sunday morning service on DVD please speak with Geoff or one of the stewards.

Midweek Prayer Time – every Thursday. A short service of prayer and reflection. Everyone welcome.
