A very warm welcome to you all especially if you are a visitor and to those who will be watching the DVD during the week and to Rev Hannah Chun who is leading our worship with Holy Communion this morning.

Prayer Requests – Please pray for members of our congregation who cannot be with us this morning.

Please pray for our Ministers – Rev Chris Preece and Rev Hannah Chun.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

NOTICES

A message from Rev Chris Preece:
We are delighted that Sally Crafer and Joe Navoka have both completed their Local Preacher training and we are now organising their Admission Service. The service will commence at 3pm on Sunday 10th December 2023. At Joe and Sally’s request, for the ease and flexibility of livestreaming, the service will take place at Castle Methodist Church. It would be great to share with as many people as possible as we celebrate with Sally and Joe.

Teas and Coffees will be available once a month after our Communion services – starting this month. We are grateful to Avril and Nigel for arranging this although going forward it would be helpful if we had volunteers who could join a rota.

Circuit Christmas Celebration – date and venue still to be decided. If you are able to help, please contact Tony Trevers or Rev Paul Howes.

Christmas at Lexden – we are having a Songs of Praise on Christmas Eve, Sunday 24th December at 10:30am and a Christmas Day service, Monday 25th December at 9:45am led by Alan Beesley. Please join us if you are able.

Sunday Services on DVD – If you, or anyone you know, would like a copy of our Sunday morning service on DVD please speak with Geoff or one of the stewards.

Midweek Prayer Time – every Thursday. A short service of prayer and reflection. Everyone welcome.
