A very warm welcome to you all especially if you are a visitor and to those who will be watching the DVD during the week and to the members of our congregation who are leading our service this morning.

PRAYER

Please remember Alan Beesley in your prayers as he goes into Basildon hospital this Friday for his operation.

Please pray for our Ministers – Rev Chris Preece and Rev Hannah Chun.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

NOTICES

Circuit Summer Celebration – ‘Seeking God’s Heart in a Garden’ This Afternoon from 4pm till 7pm.The venue, by kind invitation, is at the home of Peter Broom at The Folly, Layer de la Haye – look for the flags! The event will include crafts, games, entertainment and a closing service. Please bring a picnic, chair, umbrella etc. Please see poster on notice board for further information.

Mersea Methodist Church invite us to join their anniversary celebration on Saturday 20th July from 7pm where there will be a concert by local jazz group ‘Serendipity’.

Christmas Giving – it has been suggested we give to ‘Link to Hope’ shoebox appeal this year. It is not necessary to fill a shoebox, although it makes it more personal if you can, there is a list of items you can provide for a family or an elderly person. We have some leaflets available and will provide more information soon.

Sunday Services on DVD – If you, or anyone you know, would like a copy of our Sunday morning service on DVD please speak with Geoff or one of the stewards.

Midweek Prayer Time – every Thursday. A short service of prayer and reflection. Everyone welcome.
