Our toilets have been twinned with toilets in Malawi, Nepal and South Sudan. Please take the time to look at all of them. We are delighted to be part of the scheme by Tearfund to provide these. Did you know almost 1 in 3 people living in the world don’t have a safe place to go to the loo. Not only does this make daily life unpleasant and uncomfortable, but it presents a huge risk. There are thousands of deaths every year due to poor sanitation, which fosters water borne diseases such as cholera and intestinal worms.

Since the Friendly Tea Club closed down, we have been left with a number of items and were wondering if anyone could make use of them. These include jigsaw puzzles, board games, quiz books, art and craft equipment. Please see Alan or Christine.

Revd John Robinson sadly passed away on 16th April, at the age of 86. His ministry and musicianship were greatly appreciated across those parts of the greater East Anglia area within which he spent his entire life apart from the four years spent training for ministry at Richmond College. At John’s own request, his funeral will be a simple and quiet affair to be attended by family and close friends, but please be assured that his family know how much John was loved as a person and as a minister. Should you wish to send messages of sympathy and condolences, these can be sent care of the Tendring Circuit Office if you do not have the home address. Please keep Gill, Steven, Graham, Lisa and the wider family in your prayers at this time.

A Testimony Service for Rev Hannah Chun will take place on Sunday 11th May at Wimpole Road Methodist 6.30pm. They are planning to livestream the service if possible. David Chapman will open the service and Chris Preece will be preaching.
Although, Chris will be on sabbatical, she will be at the testimony service and at Hannah’s ordination.

Since the Friendly Tea Club closed down, we have been left with a number of items and were wondering if anyone could make use of them. These include jigsaw puzzles, board games, quiz books, art and craft equipment. Please see Alan or Christine.
