Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

NOTICES

August Songs of Praise will be on Sunday 31st August (fifth Sunday). Please let Alan or Christine know if you there is a hymn you would like or if you have a reading or bible passage you would like to share.

The South Essex Methodist Circuit is hosting an event on Saturday 2nd August:
Loving Through a Broken Heart – Palestine and Israel in the Shadow of Gaza and Iran at Trinity Methodist Church, 481 Clay Hill Rd, Basildon SS16 4NN from 4-6pm

The Best of Christianity – ‘The Summer of 25’. Please see the poster on the notice board detailing these events at St Peter’s Chapel, Bradwell-on-Sea. Chair of district, Rev Dr David Chapman will be leading the Methodist service on Sunday 17 August 2025 at 6pm, music will be provided by a small group led by Rev Steve Mayo from the Southend & Leigh Circuit.

Methodist Prayer Handbook 2025/2026 should be available next month. Please let Alan or Christine know if you would like a copy.
