A very warm welcome to you all especially if you are a visitor and to those who will be watching the DVD during the week and to Rev Hannah Chun who is leading our Harvest Festival with Holy Communion this morning.

PRAYER

Please pray for our Ministers – Rev Chris Preece and Rev Hannah Chun. Also pray for our Anna Chaplain Jastine Diaz.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

NOTICES

Food Bank collection – a very big thank you to everyone who donated during our harvest festival. If you have anything more you would like to give, please contact Alan. Our gifts will be going to the food bank in the next few days.

Colchester Circuit Christmas Celebration. If you are prepared to join a small group of people to help organise the event please contact Tony Trevers. It is anticipated you will meet about four times via Zoom and each meeting should take no longer than about 1½ hours. There will also be some work to do at the event but nothing strenuous. Everyone had a great deal of fun and enjoyment organising the previous events and Tony looks forward to hearing from you.

Circuit Monthly Prayer meeting will take place from 9am at Castle on Saturday 20th September led by Rev Chris.

Link to Hope – we shall be collecting for their shoebox appeal again this year. You can fill a shoebox – labels will soon be available – or bring any of the items on the contents list available on the table in the entrance. These boxes provide much needed Christmas joy to families or the elderly so we ask you to be generous in your giving.

Sunday Services on DVD – If you, or anyone you know, would like a copy of our Sunday morning service on DVD please speak with Geoff or one of the stewards.

Midweek Prayer Time – every Thursday. A short service of prayer and reflection. Everyone welcome.
