A very warm welcome to you all especially if you are a visitor and to those who will be watching the DVD during the week and to Viv Wilcox who is leading our worship this morning.

PRAYER

Please keep Frank and Maud in your prayers.

Please pray for our Ministers – Rev Chris Preece and Rev Hannah Chun. Also pray for our Anna Chaplain Jastine Diaz.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

NOTICES

Link to Hope – A very big thank you to everyone who has donated shoe boxes, additional items and money. They will be blessed this morning before they start their journey to the elderly and families in need. Many thanks to Jacqui for arranging this.

Circuit monthly prayer meeting from 9am at Wivenhoe on Saturday 8th November led by Rev Hannah Chun

Anna Chaplain Commissioning service will be held at Castle Methodist Church at 3pm on Sunday 30th November.

Carol Service on 21st December. If you have a hymn or a particular reading or poem you would like to share on this Sunday, please let Alan or Christine know. We will be having mince pies with tea and coffee after the service.

Christmas Day – there will be a united service at Castle Methodist Church on Christmas Day at 10:30am. Regrettably we will not have a service here at Lexden on Christmas day.

Sunday Services on DVD – If you, or anyone you know, would like a copy of our Sunday morning service on DVD please speak with Geoff or one of the stewards.

Midweek Prayer Time – every Thursday. A short service of prayer and reflection. Everyone is welcome.
