We offer you a very warm welcome especially if you are a visitor and to those who will be watching the DVD during the week and to Sally Crafer who is leading our worship this morning as we begin a month of studying Phillippians.

PRAYER

We ask that you pray for peace, especially where conflict is causing such hardships and starvation for mothers and their children.

Please pray for our Ministers – Rev Chris Preece and Rev Hannah Chun. Also pray for our Anna Chaplain Jastine Diaz.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

NOTICES

Link to Hope – don’t forget we are collecting for this throughout the year. We need Wooden cutlery and spoons, Lavender bags or other sensory gifts, Socks, Hot water bottles, Pens and paper, Reading glasses, Gloves and hats, Boiled sweets, Soap and flannels, Toothbrushes and toothpaste. We have a cupboard in the vestry to store donations. Many thanks for the items already donated. We are in need of shoeboxes if anyone has any that they could bring in. Thank you.

Colchester Methodist Circuit Newsletter is now available and there are copies on the tables in the Garling Room.

Sunday Services on DVD – If you, or anyone you know, would like a copy of our Sunday morning service on DVD please speak with Geoff or one of the stewards.

Midweek Prayer Time – every Thursday. A short service of prayer and reflection. Everyone is welcome.
