The Real Advent Calendar – the only one that mentions Jesus and its Fair Trade. If you would like to order one for yourself or a few for those you care about please add your name to the list on the board.

Beacon House – if you have any suitable clothing or sleeping bags as well as food and toiletries there is a box in the vestibule for your contributions. They are in desperate need of washing up liquid, coffee, sugar and men’s boxers in s & m.

Coffee Morning on Saturday 2nd December from 10:00 to 11:30am will be in aid of the Colchester Soup Kitchen. Everyone welcome.

Advent Journey – Prayers, Crafts and Reflection in preparation for Christmas and beyond. Saturday 2nd December 11:30am – 4:00pm (straight after the coffee morning). Please bring a sharing lunch.

Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal – if you would like to fill a shoebox we have some ready-made boxes or you can wrap a shoebox in Christmas paper. Leaflets detailing what to pack are available in the vestibule. We also have envelopes for money donations. Please can all these be returned to church by Sunday 5th November. Many thanks.

Methodist Church Prayer Handbook – as requested we have not ordered somany this year. They are still some available at £4 each in the vestibule.

Harvest Festival next Sunday 1st October at 3:00pm after Harvest Lunch. Please note there will not be a morning service here on this day. As usual we will be collecting for the Colchester Food Bank. Donations of canned meat, fish, fruit and vegetables as well as packets of food and long life products can be left in the box in the vestibule.

Harvest Lunch will be 12:30 for a 1pm start. Please add your name to the list on the notice board if you are coming for lunch.
