Songs of Praise – please add your name to the list on the Notice Board if you feel able to lead a Songs of Praise service this year. If you are unsure please speak with Alan.

Tea and Coffee – it was agreed at the Annual Church Meeting that we would try having the tea and coffee after the service. It does mean we will finish later but so many people have said how much they miss the after service chat over a cup of tea. This will start from 1st March.

Ash Wednesday service at West Bergholt on Wednesday 18th February. This year it is being held by the Anglicans at St Mary’s, New Church Road at 8:00pm and will be led by Revd Mandy Elmes. Everyone welcome.

Lent Course at St Leonard’s running on Wednesdays at 11am and 7:30pm starting from 25th February. Both sessions are the same and the lunchtime ones will be followed by a simple Lent lunch where the proceeds will be donated to charity.

Faith in Action – as part of Justice Mission Day Plume Avenue URC is holding a conference on Saturday 28th February from 9am to 1pm on ‘How to do justice in your community’. Please call 01206 564154 if you are interested in attending.

Christian Youth Outreach celebration on Sunday 1st March 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Kingsland Church. See poster for more information.

Christmas Cards – We would encourage you to send just one card to everyone at Lexden Methodist Church. These can be displayed on the notice board in the Garling Room. Please see Bill or Alan if you need help pinning your card. There will be a collection box for contributions to the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.

11am start – please let one of the Stewards know if you are finding the later start inconvenient. If you are no longer able to come we can arrange for a DVD of the service to be delivered.
