Daffodil Day – Monday 2nd March. A coach has been booked to go from Colchester to Central Hall Westminster. Pick up at London Road bus stop at 9:45am. Cost will be in the region of £15.50. For further information or to book a place please see Viv.

Songs of Praise – please add your name to the list on the Notice Board if you feel able to lead a Songs of Praise service this year. If you are unsure please speak with Alan.

Tea and Coffee – it was agreed at the Annual Church Meeting that we would try having the tea and coffee after the service. It does mean we will finish later but so many people have said how much they miss the after service chat over a cup of tea. This will start from next week.

Lent Course at St Leonard’s running on Wednesdays at 11am and 7:30pm starting from 25th February. Both sessions are the same and the lunchtime ones will be followed by a simple Lent lunch where the proceeds will be donated to charity.

Faith in Action – as part of Justice Mission Day Plume Avenue URC is holding a conference on Saturday 28th February from 9am to 1pm on ‘How to do justice in your community’. Please call 01206 564154 if you are interested in attending.

Christian Youth Outreach celebration on Sunday 1st March 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Kingsland Church. See poster for more information.

Women’s World Day of Prayer on Friday 6th March,prepared by the women of the Bahamas. One of the services will be held at West Bergholt Methodist Church at 1:30pm with soup ‘n’ snack lunch in the church hall from 12:30pm. Please see notice board for details of all other services.

Election Hustings will be held at St Botolph’s Church on Monday 27th April at 7:45pm. An opportunity to hear from the candidates standing in the General Election here in Colchester.
