Beacon House – we are collecting for Beacon house throughout March and there is a box in the vestibule for your contributions. They urgently require liquid detergent, men’s and women’s deodorant, men’s boxers (medium or small), jeans and T-shirts. They always need clothing, hygiene products and food. We have envelopes available if you would like to make a cash donation.

Easter Meditation service led by Revd Ruth Ridge here at Lexden on Thursday 2nd April from 10:00am – straight after Morning Prayer.

Agapé Meal – Thursday 2nd April at 7:00pm. Please add your name to the list on the notice board if you will be coming. This will be a simple meal of bread and cheese with Holy Communion.

Good Friday at the Mercury Theatre 3rd April at 7:30pm presented by Seeking God’s Blessing for Colchester with guest preacher the Bishop of Colchester. Admission free with a retiring offering.

Election Hustings will be held at St Botolph’s Church on Monday 27th April at 7:45pm. An opportunity to hear from the candidates standing in the General Election here in Colchester.

Sector Lunch – to say thank you to Revd Ruth Ridge here at Lexden on Saturday 18th July. 12:30 for 1pm start.

Mile End Methodist Church – 120th Anniversary Service on Sunday 23rd August at 10:30am followed by a faith lunch. More details nearer the time.

Eight Ash Green Methodist Church presents the East Coast Jazz Wanderers with Mike Hurrell. Friday 30 January 8pm till late. Tickets £8 available at the door. Parking is available at Old School/Church of England.

Annual Church Meeting on Wednesday 11th February. Everyone welcome.
