Song Cycle comes to St Leonard’s – a musical bicycle pilgrimage on Thursday 31st July at 7:30pm. The musicians will arrive at the church on their bicycles, play a recital and the next day they will make their way to another church. See poster on notice board for more information.

Family Fun Day organised by Seeking God’s Blessing for Colchester will be held in Castle Park on Saturday 13th September from 11:00am to 4:00pm. This event will include crafts and activities as well as Church related experiences.

Seeking God’s Blessing for Colchester – an evening with Paul Cowley on Thursday 25th September. This will take place at St Johns Community Centre and will include a meal.

Wimpole Road Methodist Church will be celebrating 110 years on Sunday 8th June at 6:30pm with guest preacher The Revd Lord Leslie Griffiths and the Boxted Methodist Silver Band. Everyone is welcome.

An evening with Rt Revd Stephen Cottrell, Bishop of Chelmsford, Wednesday 11th June at Plume Avenue URC. 7pm for a 7:30pm start. “Where is the church in society – A church without walls” All welcome.

Prayer Ministry – if you would like a prayer for yourself or someone else, members of the prayer team will be available at the front of the Church after the morning service.

Two Rivers Mission will be taking place from 3rd – 18th May in churches along the rivers Colne and Stour. Teams will be running special events with the aim of encouraging more people to find out about Jesus. Although our church is not taking part in the mission we can still support them with prayer.
