Free Family Fun Day arranged by Seeking God’s Blessing for Colchester will be held in the Lower Castle Park on Saturday 16th September from 11am to 4pm. Everyone welcome – not just for children.

Contemporary Worship at Mersea Methodist Church on Sunday 24th September at 6:30pm.

Circuit Study Day on 7th October at The Ark from 10am to 4pm. It is for anyone who has an interest in using puppets in ministry. There is a charge of £15 for the day. To book a place please contact Helen Coppin by phone or email.

Our very dear friend Gerald Daldry passed away on Monday and has been reunited with his beloved wife Grace. Please remember their family in your prayers. There will be a funeral service here on Thursday 29th June at 3pm. He will then be laid to rest at Mistley Cemetery. Flowers or donations to The Friends of The Elderly may be sent c/o R Gwinnell and Sons, 112 Ipswich Road Colchester.

Coffee Morning Hosts – we could still do with some more volunteers to serve tea and coffee at our monthly bring and buys. We are collecting for Gideons in July and Action for Children in August. Please let Christine or Alan know if there is a local charity you think would benefit from our charity days.
