We are delighted that Sally Crafer and Joe Navoka have both completed their Local Preacher training and we are now organising their Admission Service. The service will commence at 3pm on Sunday 10th December 2023. At Joe and Sally’s request, for the ease and flexibility of livestreaming, the service will take place at Castle Methodist Church. It would be great to share with as many people as possible as we celebrate with Sally and Joe.

Teas and Coffees will be available once a month after our Communion services – starting this month. We are grateful to Avril and Nigel for arranging this although going forward it would be helpful if we had volunteers who could join a rota.

Phil was accredited as a Methodist Local Preacher 50 years ago and has preached in and around the Colchester area since then.
There is on street parking nearby and a public car park higher up the High Street. Further parking is available at both the Congregational and Methodist Churches and for those who need it, a ferrying service will be available from those venues

Whilst there you will also be able to enjoy live music; the dog show; the food zone with BBQ & tea tent; the mind, body & spirit zone and much more. If you are able to give an hour or two of your time to assist with the activities and promote Colchester Methodist Circuit to those who visit please inform Rev Paul Howes on 07979 333233.

Because Alan Beesley has recently been diagnosed with Diabetes his daughter Helen is once again walking a million steps (500 miles) to raise money for diabetes research. Thank you to everyone who has donated.

Colchester Methodist Circuit will be at The Free Family Fun Festival in Lower Castle Park on Saturday 23rd September 11am – 4.00pm.
In our gazebos we will be inviting children to paint panels that will be assembled to make a giant picture of the ‘Feeding of the 5000’ and bringing our ball in the bucket game and prayer graffiti board as on previous occasions 2016-19. Whilst there you will also be able to enjoy live music; the dog show; the food zone with BBQ & tea tent; the mind, body & spirit zone and much more. If you are able to give an hour or two of your time to assist with the activities and promote Colchester Methodist Circuit to those who visit please inform Rev Paul Howes on 07979 333233.

Phil Bingham and his Methodist friends invite you to share in an act of celebration and thanksgiving. This will be held at St Mary’s Anglican Church Wivenhoe on Sunday October 1st at 3pm. Music will be provided by Boxted Methodist Silver Band.
Phil was accredited as a Methodist Local Preacher 50 years ago and has preached in and around the Colchester area since then. Further details nearer the time.
