A very warm welcome to you, especially if you are a visitor or will be joining us through the Recording Ministry and to Eddie Lansdown who is leading our worship this morning.
Please join us for refreshments in the Garling Room after the Service.
Prayer Ministry – if you would like a prayer for yourself or someone else, members of the prayer team will be available at the front of the Church after the morning service.
Recording Ministry – If you do not usually receive a DVD of our services please speak to Stephen Suthernwood or ring him on 01206 540988 to obtain a copy.
Prayer Requests – we ask for your prayers for everyone listed in our Prayer Book.
Please pray for our Minister Revd Ruth Ridge and all those who minister to the people of God, especially this week for Wivenhoe Methodist Church.
Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

Notices while Alan and Christine are away will be read out before the morning service and will be displayed on the Notice Board.
Harvest Festival will be on Sunday 29th September. As in previous years we will be collecting food and money for the Colchester Food Bank. Please only bring non-perishable food with a long shelf life. There will be a box in the entrance vestibule and your donations will form part of our Harvest display. Envelopes for cash donations are also available.
Offerings for last Sunday: to be announced
The Church car park will be closed between Monday 16th September and Friday 20th September while our neighbour at the back has his trees cut down. For events during the week we can use the car park at Praiseway.

Future and Other Events
Harvest Festival on Sunday 29th – it has been suggested we have apple pie with tea and coffee after the morning service. If you feel able to bake a pie please let one of the stewards know.
