We wish you a very warm welcome, especially if you are a visitor or will be joining us through the Recording Ministry and to Revd Jean Dane who is leading our worship with Holy Communion this morning.
Please join us for refreshments in the Garling Room after the Service.
There will be a retiring offering plate in the vestibule for donations to the Benevolent Fund.
Prayer Ministry – if you would like a prayer for yourself or someone else, members of the prayer team will be available at the front of the Church after the morning service.
Recording Ministry – If you do not usually receive a DVD of our services please speak to Stephen Suthernwood or ring him on 01206 540988 to obtain a copy.
Prayer Requests – we ask for your prayers for everyone listed in our Prayer Book.
Please pray for our Minister Revd Ruth Ridge and all those who minister to the people of God, especially this week for Castle Methodist Church.
Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

Harvest Festival will be on Sunday 29th September. As in previous years we will be collecting food and money for the Colchester Food Bank. Please only bring non-perishable food with a long shelf life. There will be a box in the entrance vestibule and your donations will form part of our Harvest display. Envelopes for cash donations are also available.
Offerings for last Sunday: to be announced
Notices, while Alan and Christine are away, will be read out before the morning service and will be displayed on the Notice Board.

Harvest Festival – it has been suggested we have apple pie with our tea and coffee after the morning service. If you feel able to bake a pie please let one of the stewards know.
