We offer you a very warm welcome especially if you are a visitor or will be joining us through the Recording Ministry and to Revd David J Moody who is leading our worship this morning.
Please join us for refreshments in the Garling Room after the Service.
Prayer Ministry – if you would like a prayer for yourself or someone else, members of the prayer team will be available at the front of the Church after the morning service.
Recording Ministry – If you do not usually receive a DVD of our services please speak to Stephen Suthernwood or ring him on 01206 540988 to obtain a copy.
Prayer Requests: Rose & Peter Bobby, Charles & Florrie Cronin, Barbara Duller, Cicely Kentish-Sawyer, Joan Rouse, Richard & May Walters and Robin Wilkinson.
Please pray for our Minister Revd Ruth Ridge and all those who minister to the people of God, especially this week for Abbeyfield Community Project.
Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.
Please Note – Songs of Praise and Coffee Morning will start again in March. There is no Coffee Morning this coming Saturday.
Friendly Tea Club – if you feel able to help run the Tuesday afternoon tea club, even if it’s on an occasional basis, please see Alan.
DVD Delivery – do you have a car? Could you help with delivering the DVD’s?
This is a very important part of our pastoral outreach and everyone who receives a copy of the Sunday service really enjoys them. Please see Alan or Stephen if you could help.
Volunteers – We also need people to represent Lexden at the Circuit Outreach Action Group and Social Issues group. Please see Vivian or Geoff.

‘Where is the Church in Society? – A Church without Walls’ you are invited to an evening with Simon Barker from Scripture Union who will be giving a talk entitled ‘A Presentation for Holiday Clubs’. Plume Avenue URC on 5th February from 7:30 to 9:30pm.

The St Botolph’s Big Quiz Our church has been invited to take part in this inter-church quiz on Friday 21st March at 7:00pm. If you would be interested in making up a team please see one of the Stewards.
