A very warm welcome to you especially if you are a visitor or will be joining us through the Recording Ministry and to Eddie Lansdown who is leading our worship this morning.
Please join us for refreshments in the Garling Room after the Service.
Prayer Ministry – if you would like a prayer for yourself or someone else, members of the prayer team will be available at the front of the Church after the morning service.
Recording Ministry – If you do not usually receive a DVD of our services please speak to Stephen Suthernwood or ring him on 01206 540988 to obtain a copy.

Barbara Duller is in room 6 at Hill House and she sends greetings to everyone at church.
Please pray for our Minister Revd Ruth Ridge and all those who minister to the people of God, especially this week for our church here in Lexden.
Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.
Please Note – Songs of Praise and Coffee Morning will start again in March. There is no Songs of Praise next Sunday.
Friendly Tea Club – we urgently need help to run the Tuesday afternoon tea club. Please speak with Alan if you are happy to help on an occasional basis.
DVD Delivery – do you have a car? Could you help with delivering the DVD’s?
This is a very important part of our pastoral outreach and everyone who receives a copy of the Sunday service really enjoys them. Please see Alan or Stephen if you could help.

‘Where is the Church in Society? – A Church without Walls’ you are invited to an evening with Simon Barker from Scripture Union who will be giving a talk entitled ‘A Presentation for Holiday Clubs’. Plume Avenue URC on 5th February from 7:30 to 9:30pm.
A Celebration of Love and Marriage – a special service at Boxted Methodist Church on Sunday 16th February at 10:30am.
Songs of Praise – at Fingringhoe Methodist Chapel on Sunday 16th February at 3:00pm. Please speak with one of the Stewards if you would like a lift.
Colchester Street Pastors – find out more about their work and what you can do to help on Friday 21st February from 7:30 to 9:30pm at Beacon House, 90-91 East Hill. Their latest Newsletter is on the notice board.
Daffodil Day at Central Hall Westminster. Monday 3rd March 2014.
