The Methodist Church is consulting on whether to revise its stance on marriage in view of the new gay marriage law. Currently, it believes that marriage is between one man and one woman but a change could result in Methodist churches holding same-sex weddings. There is an online consultation and this will close at 9am on Monday 10th February. If you wish to complete the survey go to methodistchurch.org.uk. You will need to read the FAQs before filling out the survey.
