A very warm welcome to you especially if you are a visitor or will be joining us through the Recording Ministry and to Joanne Eckersley who is leading our worship this morning.

PRAYER
Prayer Requests: Peter Bobby,Dorothy Cardey, Chris Chester, Gerald & Grace Daldry, Barbara Duller, Emily Grote, Eileen Mitchell, Joan Rouse and May Walters. Eileen especially needs your prayers. Dorothy is currently in hospital in the West Bergholt ward and would really appreciate visitors.
Please pray for our Minister Revd Alan Jenkins and all those who minister to the people of God.
Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

General Notices
World and Home Mission Boxes: £208.50 was raised this year by contributions in Mission in Britain boxes and £147.89 in boxes for World Mission. A very big thank you to all contributors!
Methodist Prayer Handbook 2015/16 – these will be ordered soon. If you no longer wish for a copy or would like to start receiving one, please let Peter or one of the Stewards know. They will be priced at £3.50 each

Mile End Methodist Church – 120th Anniversary Service on Sunday 23rd August at 10:30am followed by a faith lunch. Everyone welcome.
Welcome Service for Revd Ken Chalmers on Tuesday 1st September. Also a meet and greet on Saturday 5th at Castle Church from 2pm. Bob Finch will lead a walking tour of Colchester following by refreshments from 3:30pm.
Free Family Fun Festival in Lower Castle Park on Saturday 12th September arranged by churches and Christian organisations in Colchester. Activities planned so far include bouncy castles, a dog show, games, crafts and live music – all for free. Refreshments will also be available.
