We offer you a very warm welcome especially if you are a visitor or will be joining us through the Recording Ministry and to our Stewards who are leading our worship this morning.

Prayer Requests: Peter Bobby,Dorothy Cardey, Chris Chester, Gerald & Grace Daldry, Barbara Duller, Emily Grote, Eileen Mitchell, Joan Rouse, Betty Taylor and May Walters.
Eileen is now home from hospital but would prefer not to have anyone visiting at the moment. Dorothy is still in hospital in the West Bergholt ward and would appreciate visitors.
Please pray for our Minister Revd Alan Jenkins and all those who minister to the people of God.
Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

Welcome Service for Revd Ken Chalmers on Tuesday 1st September at 7:30pm at Castle Methodist Church. There is also a meet and greet for Ken and his family on Saturday 5th at Castle Methodist Church. At 2pm Bob Finch will lead a walking tour of Colchester. There will then be refreshments from 3:30pm. If you are interested in attending any of these events please let one of the Stewards know. Transport can also be arranged.
Free Family Fun Festival in Lower Castle Park on Saturday 12th September arranged by churches and Christian organisations in Colchester. Activities planned so far include bouncy castles, a dog show, games, crafts and live music – all for free. Refreshments will also be available.
