Circuit Activity Day ay the Ark Methodist Church on Saturday 13th January 10am to 4pm with a fish and chip lunch.
If Mark’s gospel were a novel, it would be an adventure story, with a very dynamic portrayal of Jesus. It’s also believed to be the ‘original’ gospel, from which Matthew and Luke drew much of their inspiration and material. We will be spending the day getting to know Mark’s gospel a little better in preparation for the Sunday lectionary readings which, this year, will be dominated by Mark’s Gospel.
As usual we will be looking at an overview of the gospel and its contents, we will be studying passages from the gospel in more detail and drawing Mark’s main themes from them, and we’ll hear the gospel in its entirety – something we could only do with this shortest of all the gospels.
Please see the poster and sign-up sheet on the notice board.

Future Circuit Event
