Mothering Sunday

A very warm welcome to you, especially if you are a visitor or will be joining us through the Recording Ministry and to our Worship Leaders who are leading our service this morning.

Please join us for refreshments in the Garling Room after the Service where we shall be celebrating the 60th wedding anniversary of Charles and Florrie Cronin. Everyone welcome.

Songs of Praise this evening at 6:30 pm will be led by John Hampshire instead of Eddie Lansdown who is not well.

Prayer Ministry – if you would like a prayer for yourself or someone else, members of the prayer team will be available at the front of the Church after the morning service.

Recording Ministry – If you do not usually receive a DVD of our services please speak to Stephen Suthernwood or ring him on 01206 540988 to obtain a copy.

Continue to pray for all others who are in any way troubled, lonely, unwell or bereaved and anyone else who needs our prayers.

GENERAL NOTICES

Harvest Festival- Thank you to everyone who completed the questionnaire. As the majority of our congregation would rather not travel to Marks Tey we will have a normal service on Sunday 15th September and a harvest festival service of our own at the end of September.

Beacon House We are collecting for Beacon House again during March. Please see list of necessities in the vestibule.

The Real Easter Egg – see article in the Methodist Recorder. The only Easter egg that is Fair-Trade and with a charity donation and mentions Jesus is now available at the Co-op in Fiveways.

Coffee Morning with Bring and Buy Stall at Mile End Methodist Church on Saturday 16th March. 10:00am to 11:30am.

Lent Quiet Morning Saturday 23rd March at Christ Church, Ireton Road. 9:00am to 1:00pm. Bring a packed lunch – tea and coffee provided.
