Alan & Christine Beesley are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their granddaughter. Their daughter Angela and Hazel Elaine are both doing well.

Gift Aid Declarations – Bill will be asking those of you who have currently made a declaration in favour of the church, to sign and date a new declaration. This is necessary to fully comply with the latest HMRC wording requirements. Whilst the previous declarations were registered and held at Methodist Church House, London; the new ones will be held by each church.

Friendly Tea Club – with the imminent departure of Mo and David Beale we are hoping for at least one more volunteer to help run the Tuesday afternoon tea club. This is always well attended and enjoyed by everyone who comes. Please see Alan if you feel able to help or would like more information.

GENERAL NOTICES

The funeral service for Rita Moss will take place here on Friday 16th August at 11:00am followed by a burial at Colchester Cemetery at 12:00 noon.

Summer Picnic on Saturday 17th August starting at 12:00 noon at the Manse Gardens West Bergholt. We are having a ‘bring & share meal’. Our friends at Marks Tey are bringing the sweets and puddings so please can we provide savouries. Please let us know what you will be bringing by adding to the list on the notice board. Everyone is welcome and there are enough cars going so if you need a lift please let one of the stewards know today.
