Coffee Morning with Bring & Buy this coming Saturday 7th September starting at 10am. This month we are collecting for World Church and Mission in Britain. Please come along and support this very worthwhile enterprise.

Alan & Christine Beesley are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their granddaughter. Their daughter Angela and Hazel Elaine are both doing well.

GENERAL NOTICES

The funeral of David Bobby will take place on Friday 12th July at 12 noon at St Teresa’s Church followed by a private family burial at West Bergholt Methodist Church churchyard. Everyone is invited to the Marks Tey Hotel for refreshments afterwards.

Beacon House – we will be collecting for Beacon House throughout July. There is a box in the entrance vestibule for your donations of clothing, toiletries and food. Thank you

Circuit Farewell Service for John and Jane Allison on Sunday 28th July at 6:30pm at Wimpole Road Methodist Church.

Summer Picnic at Marks Tey Methodist Church on Saturday 17th August starting at 12 noon. This is a joint church event and we would like to see as many of our Lexden people there as possible. Anyone needing a lift will be accommodated. We will be having a shared lunch followed by fun and activities in the garden. Please note this date in your diary.

We are very saddened to report the sudden death, at just 43, of David Bobby – son of Rose and Peter. Please remember his wife Paula and his children Jess and Josh, as well as the rest of the family, in your prayers.
